This is not a comprehensive list – just places I’ve listed for myself and since I’m often asked for options, I thought I should just put it out here. Most Asian restaurants will have options with tofu and not paneer. Check for butter in dumplings.

All South Indian restaurants, you’ll be able to order without ghee, yogurt and butter. Check if they use milk powder when ordering coconut base dishes. Check if they use yogurt in their rawa dosa.
